About the BMW E36 M3's
The M3's
The E36 M3s are fully track prepped and have many modest upgrades to make these already fun M3 perform event better!
Upgrades
The E36 M3 is a very capable car from the factory. Small suspension, brake, and wheel/tire modifications are all these cars really need to be ready for the track.
Interior / Safety
The interior of both M3s have been remove and replaced with a roll cage and racing seats/harness.
Engine
This M3s have the BMW S52 engines which provide plenty of horsepower for the track.
Race Ready
Endurance wheel to wheel racing
We also have a few cars that are set up and ready for Endurance Racing. One is a Ford Focus ST and the other is a BMW E30(with a S52) These cars have been built for ChampCar (aka ChumCar).
Venue
We normally attend the ChampCar event at Road America in spring and fall and sell available seat time. This is wheel to wheel racing so if you are more experienced and looking for a fun new experience, this might be something of interest.
Rental Overview
What is included
The M3s are available to a single driver aligned to an appropriate skill aligned run group. TrackCarRental staff will deliver and support the vehicle during the driving event. This includes routine trackside service. Consumables will be provided as part of the rental fee.
Renter Responsiblities
- The Renter is responsible for event registration and any associate registration fees.
- Helmet, HANS device, and required event clothing.
- Renter is responsible for vehicle and/or track damage.
- The rental contract and fees must be completed at least 5 days prior to the event.
Cost
The rental fee is $1,000 a day for HPDE events. Endurance racing is generally $2,500 but can vary based on the event. If interested in this please send contact us.

Blackhawk Farms
Blackhawk Farms is a 1.95 mile, 7 turn private circuit racetrack located in South Beloit, Illinois on 216 acres. The track is on the border between Wisconsin and Illinois, within 90 miles of 2 major metropolitan areas; Chicago and Milwaukee and minutes from interstate 90. The track is a favorite of many local and national race organizations, and is designed to allow for racing organizations and clubs alike to create the ultimate on-track experience with safety being top priority. http://www.blackhawkfarms.com/

Gotta say this was one of the best @itrexpo's I've had in a long time. Not having your own rig at these things just makes it more difficult and one more thing to be concerned over. This year was different though. I reached out to a local group and TraqCarRentals jumped in to offer this rental you see right here. The team made this super easy, handling all the consumables, coming completely prepared. To my surprise, this little 318ti could scoot and kept me on pace with most of the cars in my run group. I had such a great time driving the Red E30 last month that I'm tempted to use four exclamation points. I'm so glad I heard about your business because with all the wear I was putting on my street cars for the last several years at track events, I was getting to the point where I thought my next step would be to buy my own track car. But, I couldn't decide what to get, I don't have a trailer or the space to store any of it. Besides, I'm no mechanic. Honestly, I like to show up, drive, pack up and go home. Traq Car Rental is THE perfect solution.
As for the red E30, aka "Rooster", performance, I was more than impressed. That thing can handle! The couple times I came into a corner a little too hot, the chassis gave me "a little hint" and I made the appropriate adjustment and all was good. I also noticed I was not as tired overall and I'm sure it was due to the 5 point harness holding me tightly in place. Having the cage also inspires extra confidence safety-wise. Lastly, it's great to have you guys there to take care of any car issues that might arise, and you were a lot of fun to hang out with. I look forward to our upcoming session at Blackhawk Farms Raceway and trying out some of the other cars in your fleet.
